Do you love fall? I'm really not sure if anyone loves the fall season as much as I do.
Hi, my name is Tara Kyman. And you guessed it, I love fall! The leaves, the smells, the foods, you name it, I love fall. If you asked my husband, he'd say it's about one of the only times a year I actually cook! (I have an amazing pumpkin soup recipe in case anyone wants it sometime, thanks to my MIL!)
Anyway, a little about me... I was born in upstate NY and spent so much of my childhood in Vermont. The leaves in VT are unlike anything you've ever seen. My husband and I were actually married there during peak "Leaf Peepers" season!
Since moving to LA, we make it a point to exoerience as many fall activities as we can whether it be going to pumpkin patches, apple picking, or decorating the front of my house. The latter really ramped up over the last few years and I've really enjoyed putting together displays for my neighbors. Yes, I'm that crazy neighbor. and yes, my house is that house in our neighboorhood. I do this for the kids, and because I love fall. I thought, who better to start this business, especially in the city of Calabasas. As a result, Casa Calabazas is born!

So, who better to start a business like this, especially in Calabasas—which, if you didn’t know, means “pumpkins” in Spanish?
